Cultural activities
The school enriches students’ social and cultural lives because character is often developed beyond the classroom.
Celebrations
Major national and religious festivals—including Independence Day, Republic Day, Diwali and Gandhi Jayanti—are celebrated on campus. Competitions accompany these occasions. Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day, Earth Day, Mother’s Day and World Environment Day are also observed.
Morning assembly
The morning assembly builds discipline and confidence. It includes prayer, the pledge, school song, national song and national anthem. Led by the Head Boy or Head Girl, the class on duty presents the thought of the day, news headlines and a poem. Teachers speak on moral values, while extempore activities and new words make assemblies distinctive. Children are encouraged to recite at least five verses from the Bhagavad Gita.
Special assembly
Special assemblies give every child a platform to showcase talent. Full participation is encouraged, with themes expressed through speeches, songs and dance.
